Czech film festival to honour Oscar-winner Julianne Moore
Prague: Organizers said on Tuesday that the American Oscar-winning actress Julianne Moore will win at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the Czech Republic at the end of this month.
Moore won the 2014 Best Actress Award for his role in "Quiet Alice". She is also known for "The Big Lebowski", "Hannibal", "The Hours" and "The Kids Are All Right".
The organizer said in a statement that Moore will receive the Crystal Global Award for "Outstanding Contribution to World Films" at the opening ceremony.
Moore will launch their latest movie "After the Wedding" with her husband, screenwriter and director Bart Freundlich.
The organizers said that "Six Feet Under" and "Sharp Objects" star Patricia Clarkson will receive the same Crystal Globe at the final ceremony.
The 54th film festival of Karlovy Vary, the western Czech spa city, will sell 140,000 tickets in 501 screenings last year from June 28th to July 6th.
